About Us

OneVue Limited is the merged group comprising:

  • APA portfolio services, (a specialist provider of administration services for institutions and intermediaries),
  • Pentafin (a unit trust and superannuation provider) and
  • Direct Portfolio (a leading managed account provider).

We now offer a seamless client experience of both listed and unlisted securities. In September 2008, the merged entity was re-named OneVue Limited.

OneVue's major shareholder is Michael Cole, Chair of Platinum Asset Management Limited and IMB.

We offer deep domain experience and work to connect with clients
Our software is developed by business people and technologists with deep domain experience and a client focus.

Our CEO and Management Team come from business backgrounds in funds management, custody or broking where interfacing with customers is an essential part of any senior role.

We take developers out to see clients.  
This is an important part of the learning process so that "coding" does not become detached from client requirements.

As a result in the last 8 months our "bug rates" on deliveries has been at international best practice levels and we have not missed a delivery deadline in over 9 months.

We co-locate on a number of projects.  
The last three projects undertaken our developers and analysts were co-located with clients. More than anything else this is effective in bonding the groups together into one seamless project team.

We create virtual teams. 
When working on projects internally we work in virtual teams in order to get the right mix of skills to match against client deliveries. The teams are based on capabilities rather than organisational structure. It is not unusual to have someone more senior reporting to someone less senior if the latter has more pertinent skills including project management for that phase of a project.

We align KPIs.
Everyone's KPIs are aligned to client deliverables and to organisational objectives such as not losing an existing client.

Most importantly we recognise and reward passion.
Our management team shares a passion for excellence and for delivering to our clients which is driven through the organisation. We do not differentiate between our higher revenue and lower revenue clients. We try to give them all the attention they deserve.

As a result we are committed to continuing to work closely with clients post implementation. Through our network of Strategic Advantage (SA) consultants, we continually look for opportunities, such as joint ventures, acquisitions and new products, to bring to our client base.

Our pricing model is transparent.
It is not a basis point driven model as we see value in helping our clients continue to grow. More growth often translates to increased revenues and profit which enables further product and service development.

Our strategy is to encourage maximum growth for our clients, in their client bases.
Although we have deep funds management, custody and broking experience we draw on our broad business skills to look at issues holistically. Our clients have conveyed that OneVue, more than any other partner genuinely adds value "beyond the technology" to their business.

We focus on our clients and client delivery rather than hierarchy.
We have an organisational structure and we rely on that to make key accountabilities apparent. We however do not use the org structure or our titles as an excuse for not helping out a colleague to deliver to a client.

We recognise that the exceptional commitment and talent of our team is the key factor in delivering to clients. As such we offer our staff access to equity in the company. This has proven to be a significant step towards empowering and rewarding their continued efforts, and is designed to mirror the growth and achievements of our clients as a whole.
