Changes to warrant valuation methodology

Friday December 12, 2008 - Historically, APA have valued warrants at "last" price, as with all other ASX listed securities.

However under current market conditions, whereby there may not have been any trades in the relevant warrant for a considerable period, but there has been trading in the underlying security, this methodology does not accurately reflect the current arms length value of those warrants.

Consequently, effective from 12 December 2008, APA will value all warrants at the "bid" price per the ASX, which is maintained by the warrant issuer as the market maker, at close of business on the relevant date. This will not impact historical prices pre-12 December 2008.
