You can establish a Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) or open a UMA Account including SMAs within the Create section of the OneVue UMA.
If you are considering creating an SMSF for the first time, you may wish to take the OneStepSMSF training video tour before you begin.
If you have created an SMSF via the OneStepSMSF service before, you already know setting up a new SMSF can take as little as 15 minutes. Not only is the SMSF created but your clients will also be poised to transact with all their investment documents pre-populated saving you both time and money.
OneStepSMSF
Using the OneStepSMSF process is the easiest way to create and manage SMSFs on behalf of your clients - and the only seamless end to end solution in the market. So if you are a OneVue client you can begin creating a SMSF for your client by logging on and simply clicking OneStepSMSF.
You can create one view of your clients' total net wealth position.
Whether you are creating a new SMA account via the OneVue Managed Account, setting up a wholesale managed fund service or taking control of your clients' other assets and liabilities you will be opening a UMA (and a Wholesale Managed Funds service) on behalf on your client.
For those of you already experienced at opening the OneVue UMA, you need only click the UMA tab to access the full range of product options including the SMA and other assets and liabilities. A Wholesale Managed Funds service forms part of the offering but requires a separate application form. Finally, for investments that require a Macquarie Bank Cash Management Account (CMA) the application form is also available to you from the CREATE NEW menu.
Despite these services being available via the UMA for ease of use we have separated some of the more commonly used services such as SMAs and wholesale managed funds so that you can be directed to those underlying product choices more quickly.
Remember however if you choose to create a OneVue Separately Managed Account, you will be driven to one application form - the OneVue UMA application form. Should you wish to buy wholesale managed funds you will be required to also complete the Wholesale Managed Funds Service application form.
The UMA is the only service able to provide all of these products and services in one place giving you control of the total client wealth experience and providing you with one consolidated view of your clients' total net financial position.
