Next Generation SMA LaunchedSydney, 5 May 2010 - OneVue Limited (OneVue) today announced the addition of three implemented mandates to the OneVue Managed Account. These mandates are managed by Proactive Portfolios, a specialist manager of implemented mandates headed by industry veteran, James Purvis.
“The addition of these mandates represents a significant enhancement of the Separately Managed Account (SMA)” said Chris Sperber, CEO of OneVue. “While the benefits of SMA’s are being widely embraced by advisers and investors, there has been strong demand for multi-asset class mandates that would enable exposure beyond Australian equities”.
“As a leading provider of managed accounts, OneVue is focused on delivering new, innovative choices to the market and, based on our consultation with advisers, we anticipate strong demand for these mandates” Sperber said.
“ Proactive Portfolios has a dynamic and decisive approach to the management of multi-asset class mandates, aimed at outperforming the static approach which is standard in the funds management industry”, said James Purvis, Chief Investment Officer of Proactive Portfolios.
“The OneVue SMA platform is critical to this. Its proven ability to implement proactive strategies including direct shares, ETFs and other Exchange Traded Assets such as REITS, hybrids etc is essential to our success because the Proactive Portfolios will incorporate these into one diversified SMA.”
The three Proactive Portfolios investment mandates, Balanced, Growth and High Growth, are offered through the Financial Prosperity Wealth Solutions SMA from 3rd May and via the OneVue Managed Account later this month. It is anticipated that Proactive Portfolios will soon be available via other white labels of the OneVue Managed Account over the next few months.
